Nolensville Dog Park

Jess and I took Baron to the Nolensville Dog Park on Sunday.  We would've never known that it existed if we hadn't spotted it on a map while at the Nolensville Dollar General.  I am so glad we did because it is a pretty neat little place.  It was fully equipped with a few agility pieces, doggy bags and trash can, and doggy and human fountain.  Baron was super pumped to get to meet some new friends.  He met a sweet Black Lab named Ruby, an also sweet Yellow Lab named Sadie, and the Blue Heeler mix, Roscoe.  He enjoyed all the new friends, but he and Roscoe had a little more in common.  They ran and played until they were pooped. Literally.  As you will see Mommy picking it up.

This is Roscoe.  He was not too fond of the camera.  He growled, stared, and barked at it.  But he was just so cute I had to get a few.

Princess Shelby/Rapunzel/Cinderella/Tiana/Belle

Shelby's third birthday party was on Saturday, September 15, 2012.  It was filled with great food, fun friends, and multiple scheduled wardrobe changes.  I had just bought a new lens on the way to her party (this baby) with birthday gift cards and was super excited to try it out.  I still need practice with it's power because it's different than the one I am used to.  It was perfect to try it out during a birthday party because there is so much to shoot.  There were homemade regular and chocolate marshmallows made by Aunt Becky's best friend and let me tell you, they were so delicious.

Outfit 1

Here's where I have trouble with it's power.  I'm not used to such a small depth of field, although I love it.  Pretzel: totally in focus.  Shelby's face: not so much.  I bought it for this ability and it's speed, I just didn't realize the huge difference until this picture.  Soon after, I got the hang of it a little better.  :)

Outfit 2

Shelby's toenail skills.
Aunt Sissy HANDMADE this!  I know, I know.  It's awesome.  Needless to say, this is outfit 3.

Her very own cake pop.
Correction: Her and Mitchell's very own cake pop.
