Prayers and well wishes for Felix!

Mr. Felix Wilson Bates has had a minor set back in his plan to rule the world.  He has a really bad case of bronchitis and asthma.  His breathing has been very labored and he has been feeling very crummy.  (Nolen and Trevor, he feels your pain).  He has been given two steroid shots, and must take some antibiotics and other meds.  He is upstairs resting in a quiet room away from his crazy sister who barks her head off at just a leaf floating to the ground.  And I am sure he is enjoying the peace and quiet where she can not chase him into every corner of the house. 

In no time he will be back to modeling for the camera...

...giving his signature look...

...scaring the daylights out of us with the threat of his bite...

...telling me to get the hell out of his face...

...leaping because of Jules/said toy/any person trying to pet him...

...and being evil :)

We love you Mr. Wilson.  While sweet Angel is wishing that you feel better because she cares out her brother, Jules just wants someone to chase.

The Animal Rescue Site

Everyone who knows anything about me knows that animals are one of my passions in life.  In my perfect world they would all be happy, running free, without a care in the world.  My mom showed me this website which is doing amazing things to help out animals around the world.  The Animal Rescue Site has many opportunities to donate, items to buy that use portions of the sale to go towards dog food for animals in need, as well as a place to click daily that raises money for animals.  If you want to help, this is the place.  If it weren't for places like this, we wouldn't have our sweet, innocent, loving, sharing, friendly, polite Jules!

I was bringing Angel some water on the back deck the other day. As I was walking to the door I noticed a wasp, I screamed and ran and as I was near the door I saw a giant green bug. I screamed even more, ran in and slammed the door. I wanted to take a peek at the giant green bug that frightened me, so I peeked out the blinds and see this beautiful bug!

He has a white furry body, black round eyes, and giant green wings. He also has eyebrows that look like leaves. He's fascinating. And he was so perfectly displayed through the window.

He stayed on our back deck for two days.
Aunt Becky I think you'd enjoy seeing this creature. I remember us looking at tons of butterflies when I was little.
