Liz and Will

This is just a tease from Will and Elizabeth's wedding on June 16, 2012.  The wedding was at the Noah Liff Opera Center and it was beautiful.  They were both so very happy (as seen below).  Special thanks to Jessica for her creative help and Maggie for being my assistant!  The shot of Will during the ceremony and the wedding party looking over the balcony are both credited to my assistant :) Enjoy!

Test Shoot.

With "engagement" pictures and a wedding coming up, I have been feeling the pressure.  Needless to say, I have been practicing, practicing, and practicing.  I am so excited to get to have the opportunity to take these pictures.  Thank goodness these people trusted me enough to take their pictures.  I have made a shot list for the engagement pictures.

My sweet sister Maggie was nice enough to be my model for a little while.  Her BFF Joanna was her boyfriend for the day.  In some I was just practicing my focus (which I STILL need practice on). Practicing edits will be another thing.  :)

While the background will be better in the real shoot, the ideas are still the same.  Oh, and hopefully the other couples will not be as cheesy.

Happy Mama's Day

The kiddos were great artists and painted these canvases.  Mary has a pretty yard to take pictures in and they brought their beautiful smiles.

Happy Mothers Day!

This is Lambchop.

He was hanging around our house for a day, so I decided he needed some help.  I took him in and the first night he needed a bath, so he was washed with Maggie's assistance.  Mom and I probably picked 30 or more ticks off of him. He is the sweetest little dog.  He sits and stays and uses the bathroom outside, usually.  I got him groomed because he was matted and shaggy.  We found him a home and it seems to be working out pretty well.  I would've kept him if Jules would have let me.

m.florita jewelry

Jessica's friend Marrah hand-makes fantastic jewelry and she was selling it at the Porter Flea Market in downtown Nashville near my old middle school.  I have been trying to start taking more pictures to make a portfolio and also just to get experience.  I figured she might also want pictures of her beautiful creations so Maggie, Mom, and I went out to the flea market.  It was so neat to see all the awesome hand-made things she and other people had put their hearts into.

All of this jewelry is made by Marrah and can be found at http://mfloritajewelry.com/

Isn't she awesome?!
